The Jefferson-Eastern Dane Interactive (JEDI)

is a distance education network  of the following school districts :

Cambridge, Deerfield, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Lake Mills, Marshall, Palmyra, Parkview, Whitewater

as well as

MATC and UW Whitewater.

JEDI  is a consortium ,formed in 1996, whose purpose is to develop and implement a regional video and data telecommunication network that interconnects the named educational institutions for the purpose of achieving equitable and equal access to education and enhancing economic development for residents of the region. This consortium seeks to foster the concept of working together for the common good of the region.

JEDI connects its member sites via fiber optics and other technical components so that each site may originate and receive real-time, live, educational programming.  JEDI also offers On-Line Classes. This allows for anytime, anyplace learning. Additionally, in 2006 the JEDI Consortium established the JEDI Virtual High School

JEDI programming is carefully planned by District Administrators, Principals, and Guidance  Representatives from each of the member districts. The best interest of the student is always the first priority for this group.

Students and parents in member districts and outside member districts are encouraged to contact the local district or visit www.jedivirtual.org.
